First rule of not pissing off the user

Don't fuck with the input focus.

If my work craptop decides once more to randomly bring another window to the front (IE, app, whatever) while I'm typing, it is going to end up in the duckpond.

Quite why Microsoft called their OS 'Windows' when it fails so spectacularly at this, and in fact operates 90% of the time in simple full-screen task-switching mode, I have no idea.

Found your blog thanks to Andrew at Granny Buttons. It could be a spyware problem, try running adaware and spybot. One of my friends had the same thing happen, running those two cleared it. Sue :)
