To what extent does a map using ShareAlike data require that the rest of the publication is ShareAlike?
Let's assume that the map in these examples is made from ShareAlike data.

Map on one page, non-map information on the other. This should be the easiest case.

This is exactly the same as the previous map, but the map and the non-map information are on the same page. (For what it's worth, this is the real map.)

Pretty much the same as 2, but there's a little line linking the non-map information to a place on the map.

This is similar to 3, but instead of keeping the map at the bottom and linking it by a line, it's placed next to the relevant feature - effectively using it as a label.
Scanned from The Birmingham Canal Navigations by GEOprojects (which is heartily recommended).
